REMINDRemind is an App and Online Program that allows for quick and easy communication between a teacher, parents and students. By joining Remind you are able to share class reminders, assignments when you have missed school, questions about homework and check in with the teacher on any concerns you have. This can be done by texting a class code to the number 81010. You will receive a text back asking if you are a parent or student. Please reply so that the teacher can send you individual messages when needed. You can then save the number the text comes from in your contacts and text questions to the teacher at any time. Students and parents can also go online to Remind.com and entering a class code, or join by downloading the App to your personal device and using your class code to join your teachers' groups. It is recommended that students and their parents both join the class to help with reminders and make communication easier.

About Me...
I grew up in Eminence, Kentucky and attended school there until I graduated in 1997. I went on to earn a degree in Art Education from Eastern Kentucky University to teach K-12 in 2003, and I began my teaching and coaching career at Gallatin County Upper Elementary and Middle School. I received a master's of Instruction and Educational Leadership from EKU in 2005 and then a master's of Special Education in Mild to Moderate Learning and Behavior Disorders from Graceland University for all grade levels. In 2009, my family moved back to Eminence and I joined Henry County Middle School, then went on in 2015 to fill a need at Eminence Independent as a teacher and coach, and am now excited to be a Colonel at Oldham County High School as of 2016.
My husband, Chris, and I have two children. Our son, Bradshaw, is twelve years old and our daughter, Caliann, is seven years old. My favorite thing is spending time with my family and exploring parks and natural wonders. I also enjoy anytime I get to create artworks of any kind, volunteering in local mission activities with Eminence Christian Church, and gardening.
