GRATITUDE IN MUSIC
“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.”

Brainstorm Session!
In your Composition Notebook make a T- chart List. On the left list 10 things that you enjoy in the world around you in 2017 or that you think are beautiful. On the right list 10 things that you do not like. |
Application:
It's a Wonderful World" - Original Composition After you have made your lists (every student records these in their Composition Notebooks) of 10 specific images of wonderful things and then 10 terrible images that describe the world in 2017, you will create an original verse on the Google Doc in Google Classroom and turn in. Your original verse must be in the style and rhythm of Louis Armstrong. Remember the rhyming pattern and that specific lines must be "And I think to myself, what a wonderful world." Click the tab below or see your Google Classroom for Specifics. |
