GRATITUDE PROJECTWe began our exploration of ‘The Art of Gratitude’ with a TED Talk. David Steindl-Rast suggested that a person could increase their happiness by increasing their GRATITUDE, and he gave us three simple steps to make this happen - Stop. Look. Go.
As we looked carefully at “The Thankful Poor”, “Freedom of Speech”, “The Summer Day” and other artworks, we attempted to identify what these pieces might have to teach us about the practice of gratitude - what it looks and sounds like, why it might be important, and how it might impact our lives and the lives of those around us. Now - you are being asked to reflect on your own life and consider how you might implement gratitude more deliberately in your daily life. |
